- If elected, we will save you on average $14 a tank of fuel by halving the fuel excise for 12 months – an immediate saving compared to Labor’s 70 cents a day tax cut in 15 months.
- Labor’s cost of living crisis also hurts at the supermarket checkout. Our plan will ensure Australians get a fair go from the farm gate to your plate. We’ll keep the big supermarkets honest with stronger penalties and an independent Supermarket Commissioner to make sure they’re doing the right thing.
 | Affordable and Reliable Energy |
- The LNP will unlock our massive reserves of Australian gas to drive down prices, and invest in a balanced, long-term energy plan - that includes safe, clean and reliable nuclear energy. Our energy plan will be 44% cheaper than Labor’s and make sure regional Australia doesn’t become littered with industrial wind turbines and solar panels.
