THE RIGHT PLAN FOR QUEENSLAND’S FUTURE
The LNP has committed funds to the Redcliffe and District Woodcrafters Society (RDWS) if elected next month.
LNP candidate for Redcliffe, Kerri-Anne Dooley said the $33,000 project was part of their focus on working harder for Queenslanders, while under Labor, Queensland was heading in the wrong direction.
“The LNP will restore a government that works for you, with the Right Plan for Queensland’s Future,” Kerri-Anne Dooley said.
“This announcement will help the 120+ members of the Redcliffe & District Woodcrafters Society continue to have a place to belong and serve their community.”
“Labor’s failures have overseen $20 billion-plus in project cost blowouts that could have instead delivered grassroots equipment for clubs like RDWS.”
“Queenslanders should have a government that delivers the programs and services needed for the State’s future, supporting our communities.”
Ernie Hobson, President of the Redcliffe & District Woodcrafters Society welcomed the announcement and said this funding will help the club upgrade their electric Wood-Mizer to make our operations safer and more efficient.
“The Wood-Mizer is the foundational piece of equipment for our club. We use the Wood-Mizer to sawmill sections of trees into timber ready for use by our members, it is essential to our club and the many crafts and projects we undertake. Our current Wood-Mizer is very old and in desperate need of replacement. It produces a huge amount of sawdust which is a health issue for our members”.
Kerri-Anne Dooley said Redcliffe locals could vote for someone who listens and acts on behalf of their community at this election.
“Redcliffe and Queensland must show Labor the door in 2024, to ensure the right focus on delivering the projects, services and communities for our state,” Kerri-Anne Dooley.
“Only the LNP stands ready to deliver a fresh start for Queensland.”
