THE RIGHT PLAN FOR QUEENSLAND’S FUTURE
The LNP has committed to partner with the City of Moreton Bay to build a specialist Edu Space at Redcliffe Area Youth Space.
The Edu Space will provide person-centred/differentiated education to some of Moreton Bay’s most vulnerable, marginalised, and at-risk young people.
LNP candidate for Redcliffe, Kerri-Anne Dooley said the $2 million Edu Space partnership would help deliver the programs and services needed to provide a future for some of the State’s most at-risk kids.
“The LNP will restore a government that works for you, with the Right Plan for Queensland’s Future,” Kerri-Anne said.
“Queenslanders need a fresh start, and Edu Space is part of restoring a government that educates and supports at risk young Queenslanders, boosts skills training facilities and puts more teachers in our schools.”
“While Labor’s failures have seen approximately 40 per cent of students failing maths and literacy national standards, a statewide teacher shortage and attendance rates plummet.”
Amy Mayes, Executive Manager of Redcliffe Area Youth Space has welcomed the announcement and said it needs the funding to be able to build more classrooms to support much needed growth of their Edu Space program.
“We are experiencing a dramatic increase in demand for services. This commitment will directly support the kids who have been failed by traditional schooling and provide a chance for them to build a future and flourish.”
Kerri-Anne Dooley said Queenslanders could vote for change in Redcliffe and to support Edu Space by voting LNP at this election.
“Queenslanders must show Labor the door in 2024, to deliver the programs, training and services we need for the future,” Kerri-Anne says.
“Only the LNP stands ready to deliver a fresh start for Queensland.”
