An elected LNP Government will help the next generation of local leaders with a $100,000 investment in facility and IT upgrades for the Jimboomba and District Cadets.
The Jimboomba and Districts Cadets gives kids aged between 7 and 17 a positive military experience, while teaching them the important skills they will need later in life.
Scott Buchholz said he was proud to support an organisation that instils leadership, discipline, and resilience in young Australians.
“I’m proud to announce that an elected LNP Government will invest $100,000 towards facility and IT upgrades at the Jimboomba and District Cadets,” Scott Buchholz said.
“The Jimboomba and District Cadets play an invaluable role in developing the skills and character of our young people.
“Cadets help shape the leaders of tomorrow, and we need to ensure they have the best resources to succeed.
“This investment will help our young cadets continue to thrive by ensuring they have the best possible facilities and technology to support their training and development.
“Only the LNP will prioritise these vital local projects and deliver real results for our communities.”
Logan City Council Deputy Mayor Scott Bannan also praised the announcement, highlighting the importance of investing in youth development programs.
“The Jimboomba Cadets provide an incredible service to our young people, teaching them leadership, teamwork, and discipline,” Deputy Mayor Bannan said.
“This funding will help enhance their training environment, and I commend Scott Buchholz and the LNP for backing this important project.”
