Meet Brent

Hon Brent Mickelberg, Minister for Transport and Main Roads.

My wife Anna and I choose to live and raise our four young children in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast and are proud to be part of the community.

My life experience is richly diverse having lived and worked in communities across Australia in careers that include bank manager, financial analyst, and stockman, together with a period in the Australian Defence Force which included operational service.

I am proud to have been the State Member for Buderim since he was elected in 2017, and I look forward to working with our community to protect our lifestyle on the Sunshine Coast.

I have served as the Shadow Minister for Employment and Training, Shadow Minister for Small and Family Business and Shadow Minister for Open Data.
