Meet Bryson

Hi, I'm Bryson Head, your LNP Member for Callide.

Bryson Head is the State Member for Callide, Shadow Assistant Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Shadow Assistant Minister for Resources and Critical Minerals.

Bryson is a passionate advocate for primary industry and rural Queensland and is proud to represent the electorate of Callide. Bryson believes in fighting for our fair share, and that money generated in communities should be reinvested back there.

Bryson is a boy from the bush, born and raised on a family farm near Brigalow on the Darling Downs.

With strong family farming connections to the North Burnett, a lot of his childhood was spent across many corners of the electorate he now represents.

Bryson’s upbringing instilled him with a passion for advocating for the livelihood and lifestyles of rural Australia, doing so at university and with various groups prior to being elected to Queensland Parliament.

Bryson is a geologist by profession and has worked not only in Queensland but in Canada and New South Wales. Prior to being elected, Bryson was an exploration geologist at a coal mine in Central Queensland.

Bryson’s passion for the conservative cause and protecting the values and industries of rural Queensland means he is proud to stand side by side with coal miners, farmers, timber millers and energy workers.

Fast-forward to today, Bryson has been working with, and fighting for the Callide community over the last few years. His advocacy for easier access to health services, more police on our beat to keep your community safer, improved roads, better water infrastructure and security, reliable and affordable electricity, and so much more, attest to his fight for what Callide needs.  

Bryson’s office door in Biloela is always open, and if he’s not in the office, he’s on the road to come and see you. Bryson will always fight for Callide’s fair share, and his motto is ‘I can’t fight to fix an issue I don’t know about” so drop by, or give him and his staff a call, and he will do his best to advocate for you.
