Thank you for signing our petition.
In 2017 the Palaszczuk/Miles Labor Government announced it would redevelop the Cairns Ambulance Station and Operations Centre to better meet growing demand for ambulance services in our area.
Almost seven years later, our hard-working paramedics are still waiting for this to happen.
The failure of the Palaszczuk/Miles Labor Government to deliver this upgrade is not just another broken promise. It also means QAS officers working in the building - serving the people of Cairns and Far North Queensland – haven’t got the modern functionality and resources they need and deserve to do their jobs.
The Cairns Ambulance Station is an essential facility. Our QAS officers do an outstanding job caring for the community.
Please help me support them by signing my petition calling on the Palaszczuk/Miles Labor Government to deliver this long-overdue project.
