Meet Chris

Hi, I'm Chris Mangan, your LNP candidate for Sandgate.

Sandgate has been my home for more than 20 years and I am proud of all our vibrant community has to offer. With deep roots, working and serving as a volunteer across multiple local community groups, and over 20 years’ experience in planning and logistics for the defence industry, I have a passion to serve our community and see Sandgate reach its full potential.

Sadly, our local area has been taken for granted by this tired Palaszczuk/Miles Labor Government’s lack of vision and leadership.

Everywhere I go, people talk about housing affordability, rising rents, youth crime, record high ambulance ramping and how Labor’s cost of living crisis is forcing families to make difficult decisions about what they will go without to keep food on the table.

It is clear Labor have no idea of what matters to locals, or any real plans for the future. Unlike Labor, the LNP has a plan to address the things that matters most.

If elected, our plan will see the introduction of the Making Queensland Safer Laws by Christmas this year. Our plans will also provide increased home ownership and rental affordability, easier access to health services, and an easing of Labor’s cost-of-living crisis.

Over the coming weeks, I will be listening your voices and working with David Crisafulli and the LNP team to deliver the Right Plan for Sandgate’s Future.
