Meet Clio

Hi, I'm Clio Padayachee, your LNP candidate for Miller.

I was born and raised on the south-side of Brisbane, before studying to become a Cardiac Scientist. I've worked for 10 years in frontline health services to diagnose and treat complex cardiac conditions of countless numbers of Queenslanders from all walks of life.

Some of my work includes stress testing, programming pacemakers and assisting in angioplasties where stents are used to save lives. If elected, I'll be a strong advocate for improving health services for everyday Queenslanders in Miller.

I have leadership experience in the health system and have a Masters in Public Health. I’ve been involved in training staff, running departments, establishing new and growing services. I have seen the coal face of the health system and want to work in government to make policies centred around patients, staff and community.

I enjoy building community and seeing people thrive in all areas of life. Health is not just physical wellbeing, it's also about having good relationships, finance, safety, emotional and mental stability. Hence, I want to stand up for our community in parliament and be part of the change that gives us all a better life.
