Meet Fiona

Hi, I'm Fiona Hammond, your LNP candidate for Stafford.

I have worked closely with residents and community organisations as the local councillor for Marchant, based in the Stafford area, for almost 16 years.

People are my passion and I’m proud to have created new parks in Lutwyche, delivered funding to improve water sustainability at Grange, reduced congestion through investing in road infrastructure, delivering exercise equipment in our parks in Aspley, Geebung and purchased land for conservation in Stafford and delivered new library facilities in Chermside. 

I know that local grassroots sports clubs are at the heart of our community and I and am a longstanding Patron of local clubs, including Valleys RLFC, Brothers Juniors RLFC.

I have seen firsthand the challenges local residents are facing, and I know what it takes to deliver tangible, long-term solutions.

We need a state government to take real action to reduce the cost of living and energy prices, to improve access to health services and to ensure we have infrastructure that keeps pace with our growing population. 

Over the coming months I look forward to listening to and working with residents in Stafford to and working with David Crisafulli and the LNP team to deliver the change we need.
