The Gap Football Club is home to over 1,000 players, from their youngest U6s to their senior teams. Their three turf fields are constantly in use, hosting games and training sessions for players of all ages.

This heavy usage takes a toll. They’re at risk of having to close fields due to wear and tear, which could lead to injuries and limit playing time for members. To solve this, I’m fighting for funding to convert one field to a synthetic surface.

A new artificial pitch would be a game-changer for The Gap Football Club! It would allow year-round play, support the growing "Summer Fives" competition, and reduce the burden on the natural turf fields. This benefits not just club members, but also the local schools who seek to utilise The Gap Football Club’s facilities.
