THE RIGHT PLAN FOR QUEENSLAND’S FUTURE
The LNP has committed to refurbishing the Mount Gravatt Girl Guides Hall, to better provide for local community groups if elected next month.
Pinky Singh and a Crisafulli LNP Government will deliver $75,000 to refurbish the Mount Gravatt Girl Guides kitchen.
The Mt Gravatt Girl Guides has seen increasing membership, with more young girls signing up. But the current kitchen is outdated, and not fit for purpose with growing numbers using the kitchen.
LNP candidate for Mansfield, Pinky Singh said the $75,00 project was part of their focus on working harder for Queenslanders, while under Labor Queensland was heading in the wrong direction.
“The LNP will restore a government that works for you, with the Right Plan for Queensland’s Future,” Mrs Singh said.
“This refurbishment of the Girl Guides kitchen will provide a much needed upgrade to a community group which provides a lot of support and great opportunities in our community.
“Labor’s failures have overseen $20 billion-plus in project cost blowouts that could have instead delivered grassroots infrastructure like the Mount Gravatt Girl Guides.
“Queenslanders should have a government that delivers the programs and services needed for the State’s future, supporting our communities.”
Mrs Singh said Queenslanders could vote for the Girl Guides upgrade and a government which worked for them, by voting LNP at this election.
“Queenslanders must show Labor the door in 2024, to ensure the right focus on delivering the programs, services and communities for our state, “Mrs Singh said.
“Only the LNP stands ready to deliver a fresh start for Queensland.”
