The one thing I constantly hear from people in Western Queensland is that our roads and highways are dangerous and need upgrading. For the last decade, the Palaszczuk/Miles Government has played politics with road funding. We all know that our roads are not adequate, and we deserve better.

A lack of planning, a lack of understanding about the importance of major road transport routes and a lack of funding has left our roads the worst in Queensland. Our region is the economic engine room of Queensland and we need our fair share of funding. The Beef Roads corridor is vital to the continued success of our community and it's been ignored for too long.
