Since the Palaszczuk/Miles Labor Government watered down the former LNP Government’s tough youth justice laws, communities across Queensland have been subjected to ever-worsening youth crime.

Our area has been one of the hardest hit.

David Crisafulli and the LNP forced Labor to reinstate breach of bail as an offence in the Youth Justice Act.

Now, David and our LNP Team are mounting another campaign to have detention as a last resort removed from the sentencing provisions.

Removing this principle will allow the punishment to better fit the crime and give courts the ability to sentence youth criminals properly.
