The netball courts at the Mallawa Sports Complex in Palm Beach are used by both the South Coast Netball Association (over 1200 players) and the Palm Beach Netball Club (over 300 players).

Injuries and grazing have become all too common because of the current state of the courts. As a result, we are seeking to resurface the courts and upgrade the rings as well (which are rusted and dated).

The resurfacing and new rings will not only benefit the local community but visitors to the Gold Coast who participate in competitions at the club. It will also enable games and competitions to be hosted in Palm Beach in the future.

The players deserve to have comparable facilities to elsewhere on the Gold Coast to enable them to do what they do best – play netball. We want to keep our community active and encourage girls and women to participate in sports locally.
