Meet Hermann
A Message From Hermann
My name is Hermann Vorster, and I have dedicated my career to protecting our lifestyle here on the southern Gold Coast.
s a long-serving community volunteer and representative, I have always listened to our community and stood up for the southern Gold Coast. My track record means you can count on me.
During my time on Gold Coast City Council, I have consistently fought for stronger laws, more police, and the expansion of CCTV in our villages, parks, and residential streets.
And my campaigns against Labor’s cuts to local policing and lax hooning laws generated national media attention that gave locals a real voice.
To ease the cost of living, I have worked hard as a Councillor to keep rates low, pay down debt, and extend free off-peak bus travel for seniors while delivering budget surpluses.
I will apply that experience, and that of my family business background, to ensure locals don’t continue to suffer from Labor’s mismanagement.
Our community is paying a heavy price for Labor’s failures. There are fewer police to keep us safe. Ambulance ramping is costing lives. And housing insecurity is now a mainstream worry.
Worst of all, Labor’s litany of budget blowouts have forced up the cost of living, which is now pushing local families and seniors to breaking point.
It doesn’t have to be like this – but for things to change, we must change the government. That is why I am asking for your support at this State election as part of David Crisafulli’s LNP team, who have the right priorities for Burleigh’s and Queensland’s future.
The Burleigh electorate is beautiful and must never be taken for granted. I am passionate about restoring our national park, looking after our waterways, and protecting our koalas.
My wife and I and our three children are embedded in this community, and we are firmly invested in its future.
I look forward to speaking with you about the issues that matter most, and giving the Burleigh electorate a strong voice it deserves as part of David Crisafulli’s LNP team.
