Meet Yolonde

Hi, I’m Yolonde Entsch and I’m your LNP Candidate for the state electorate of Cairns.

I love our region and the people who live here. My work in the community is my passion. For the last decade, I’ve had the privilege of working across Far North Queensland alongside businesses, not-for-profits, Indigenous communities, community groups and all levels of government to deliver better outcomes for people living with health issues, experiencing homelessness and assisting incredibly strong women who have been put in vulnerable situations.

Cairns is one of the best places to live in Australia, but our community is hurting under the Palaszczuk Labor Government. Youth crime is out of control, health wait times are far too long and the housing situation is dire. And that’s not to mention the rising costs under Labor, which are hurting all of us.

Labor’s flawed policies and band-aid solutions aren’t creating the positive change we need. Cairns deserves better.

That’s why I’ve put my hand up to represent Cairns in the Queensland Parliament for the LNP. We need a representative in Parliament who understands our region, and knows how to work with the community to deliver real solutions to complex problems.
