Following a career in law enforcement with the Queensland Police Service of almost two decades and running a small business in the tourism sector, Annette Swaine is taking on a new challenge as the Liberal National Party candidate for Hinchinbrook.
Retiring in 2020 with the rank of Seargent, Annette spent 19 years serving in the QPS across Queensland, stationed variously in Brisbane, Mount Isa, Innisfail and Cardwell, including working in the specialist area of child protection and investigation.
