How It Works

The core capital of the Fund is safeguarded and can only be accessed in exceptional circumstances with the approval of 75% of State Council.
- Responsible Investment
Capital is invested prudently under the oversight of the State Finance Committee, following the Party’s Investment Policy.
- Earnings for Impact
Investment earnings may be reinvested to grow the Fund or used to support operational priorities such as campaigns, administration, member support, and outreach.

By building a strong and permanent financial base, the LNP can plan for the future with confidence, safeguard against uncertainty, and remain focused on serving Queenslanders rather than relying on short-term fundraising cycles.

This fund is designed to ensure financial resilience, provides a dependable income stream for campaigns and policy development, and preserves capital for the long term.
Contributions to the Fund are designed to be held in perpetuity and carefully managed under strict oversight by the State Finance Committee, with capital withdrawals only permitted under exceptional circumstances and requiring a supermajority approval.
