- Halve the fuel excise for 12 months, saving families around $1,500.
- Deliver cheaper energy and rein in wasteful government spending to get inflation and interest rates down.
- Stop supermarkets exploiting consumers, boost housing and protect retirement savings from new taxes.
 | Fixing the Housing Crisis |
- Assist first home buyers by giving them the choice of using up to $50,000 of their super for a deposit.
- Save first home buyers around $12,000 per year by making interest payments on new builds tax deductible.
- Implement a two-year ban on foreign investors and temporary residents from buying existing homes, and reduce Labor’s record migration to sustainable levels.
- Fund essential infrastructure like water, power, and sewerage at housing development sites.
- Tackle union corruption in the building sector.

- Increase the instant asset write-off to $30,000 and make it permanent.
- Deliver competition policy to give small businesses a fair go and protect small businesses from the control of union bosses.
- Provide incentives to hire and train new apprentices and trainees.

- Boost Defence and Border Security and deport noncitizens who commit violent crimes.
- Tackle drugs in our community and protect our children, including online.

- Deliver lower energy bills for families and businesses by unlocking Australian gas and boosting exploration.
- Replace retiring coal-fired power stations with reliable zero-emissions nuclear energy – to power Australian households and industry.

- Fund more GPs to address current shortages and guarantee increased Medicare funding.
- Restore the number of Medicare subsidised mental health sessions from 10 to 20.
- Deliver cheaper medicines to help with the cost of living.

- Invest in roads, rail, high speed internet and local infrastructure to support agriculture and jobs.
- Boost education/childcare options, back our agriculture, mining and resources sectors.

- We will safeguard our community in case disaster hits. A Dutton LNP Government will construct a Douglas Shire Disaster Coordination, Community Recovery and Resilience Centre to protect our region in times of need.

- A Dutton LNP Government will enhance sporting infrastructure across the region by funding upgrades to the Marlin Coast Rangers FC, Endeavour Park FC, and the Barron River Cricket Club.

- A Dutton LNP Government will fund a High Performance Centre for the Cowboys NRLW to open up more opportunities for women’s sport.

My pledge to you...
We live in the best part of the best country in the world, but we’ve been let down by bad state and federal Labor governments who have left us less secure and with a cost of living crisis.
For 15 years I’ve served the people of Far North Queensland as a paramedic. Being first on the scene, I’ve seen up-close the damage youth crime has had on victims.
Labor’s weaker laws and denial of the problem created the youth crime crisis.
I love our community and I’m sick of seeing our people living in fear. That’s why, I’ll fight for safer communities in the Far North.
Through my work I speak to people in their homes every day – time and again, they tell me they’re worse off since Labor came to power.
Your government should make sure it gets the basics right. That means focusing on tackling inflation to ease cost of living pressures.
