My pledge to you...
I’ve lived in our local area with my husband for 25 years, raising our three kids in Shorncliffe. It’s a great place to live.
But over the past three years, the Labor Government in Canberra has let us down.
That’s why I’ve decided to stand for Parliament - because Labor has held Lilley for 27 years and are taking us for granted.
I began my career as a journalist and spent five years working overseas. But after missing our local area I returned to the northside where I’ve owned and run successful local businesses, including a busy hairdressing salon. I like being hands-on and getting things done.
I’ve served on the Chamber of Commerce for the past seven years and have volunteered with local groups like Zonta and Meals on Wheels.
I pledge to fight for our local area to secure the services we need. And to work hard to get our local area and Australia back on track.
All the best,
Kimberley Washington

Why we're supporting Kimberly Washington

What started out as a handful of school mums hosting a morning tea to raise the race fee for a cancer charity bike ride has grown over ten years to donating more than $100,000 towards cancer research. Kimberley has been there from the start always helping and sharing her energy. She is a woman of inspiration.
Carmen Rigney, Founder of Women of Inspiration
