Hi, I'm Kimberley Washington, your LNP candidate for Lilley

Kimberley Washington brings a wealth of experience as a journalist, business owner, and community leader to her work. She began her career as a journalist in Queensland before spending five years in Japan, where she worked in international newspapers, magazines, and television.

Returning to her roots in Shorncliffe, Kimberley and her husband have proudly raised their three children in the northern bayside community over the past 25 years. From 2013 to 2023, Kimberley owned and operated successful local businesses, including a thriving hairdressing salon, cementing her reputation as a hands-on leader and small business advocate.

A dedicated community contributor, Kimberley has served on the Sandgate Bayside Chamber of Commerce Executive since 2017, volunteered with organisations like Zonta International, Meals on Wheels, and Surf Life Saving Queensland, and represented her community in the 2020 local government elections.

With experience in community engagement alongside Federal Members of Parliament, Kimberley is now a Regulatory Affairs Manager at a Brisbane-based advertising firm, combining her communication expertise with a passion for delivering results.

Kimberley is deeply committed to creating opportunities, supporting small businesses, and fostering vibrant local communities in Lilley and beyond.
