- Halve the fuel excise for 12 months, saving families around $1,500.
- Deliver cheaper energy and rein in wasteful government spending to get inflation and interest rates down.
- Stop supermarkets exploiting consumers, boost housing and protect retirement savings from new taxes.
 | Fixing the Housing Crisis |
- Assist first home buyers by giving them the choice of using up to $50,000 of their super for a deposit.
- Save first home buyers around $12,000 per year by making interest payments on new builds tax deductible.
- Implement a two-year ban on foreign investors and temporary residents from buying existing homes, and reduce Labor’s record migration to sustainable levels.
- Fund essential infrastructure like water, power, and sewerage at housing development sites.
- Tackle union corruption in the building sector.

- Increase the instant asset write-off to $30,000 and make it permanent.
- Deliver competition policy to give small businesses a fair go and protect small businesses from the control of union bosses.
- Provide incentives to hire and train new apprentices and trainees.

- Boost Defence and Border Security and deport noncitizens who commit violent crimes.
- Tackle drugs in our community and protect our children, including online.

- Deliver lower energy bills for families and businesses by unlocking Australian gas and boosting exploration.
- Replace retiring coal-fired power stations with reliable zero-emissions nuclear energy – to power Australian households and industry.

- Fund more GPs to address current shortages and guarantee increased Medicare funding.
- Restore the number of Medicare subsidised mental health sessions from 10 to 20.
- Deliver cheaper medicines to help with the cost of living.

- A Dutton LNP Government will fund an upgrade to the Burpengary Men’s Shed.
 | NORTH LAKES UNITED FC UPGRADE |
- A Dutton LNP Government will provide investment to North Lakes United to expand their facilities with a new synthetic field to allow them to cater for more players in our growing community.
| BRADLEY PARK UPGRADES |
- A Dutton LNP Government will invest in the expansion and renovation of Bradley Park Clubhouse to promote female participation in local sports.
 | REDCLIFFE TIGERS AFL UPGRADE |
- A Dutton LNP Government will help bring Redcliffe Tigers AFL up to a competitive standard by funding multi-purpose sports field (AFL and Cricket) with LED lighting, drainage and irrigation, additional car parking and player changerooms.
| DOLPHINS NRL UPGRADE |
- The Dolphins are an elite NRL club and they need elite facilities. A Dutton LNP Government will contribute funding to build a High Performance Centre and female changerooms.
 | ASPLEY BOWLS CLUB UPGRADE |
- A Dutton LNP Government will encourage increased participation at the Aspley Memorial Bowls Club by funding a new shade cover.
My pledge to you...
I grew up in Bracken Ridge, fishing in Salt Water Creek with my dad, doing Judo at the local scout hall, and raising my three sons locally with my wife Louise. I love it here.
But over the past three years, the Labor Government in Canberra has let us down. Rising costs are hurting local residents. We deserve better.
Before I was elected as your Member for Petrie, I worked a range of jobs including running our family business, Sandgate Pest Control. I’ve never been afraid of hard work.
As your local MP, I have worked with many community groups including the Police Citizens Youth Clubs, Citipointe Love Army and the Mango Hill Progress Association. I will always fight to improve community safety.
My pledge to you is simple – I will keep standing up for Petrie to help small businesses grow and create more local jobs.
And I pledge to get our fair share from Canberra.
