Families in Greenbank are set to benefit from upgraded facilities at Ison Park, with an elected LNP Government to deliver $150,000 towards Stage 2 of the park’s redevelopment.

Federal Member for Wright, Scott Buchholz MP, announced the funding commitment today, reinforcing his support of local recreational spaces and to ensure Ison Park continues to be a vital community hub for sport and recreation.

“I’m proud to announce that a LNP Federal Government will provide $150,000 towards Stage 2 of the Ison Park upgrade in Greenbank,” Mr Buchholz said.

“Ison Park is an important space for local families, sports teams, and community groups, and this upgrade will make it an even better place for everyone to enjoy.

“This investment will deliver improved facilities, ensuring the park can support more activities and provide a high-quality space for locals.

“Only the LNP has a plan to back community infrastructure, invest in local projects like Ison Park, and get Australia back on track.”

Logan City Council Councillor Natalie Willcocks welcomed the announcement and acknowledged the positive impact of the funding for local residents.

“This is great news for Greenbank, and we are excited to continue improving Ison Park,” Cr Willcocks said.

“Our community values high-quality recreational spaces, and this funding ensures we can deliver a fantastic facility for local families.

“Scott Buchholz has been a strong advocate for local investment, and we sincerely thank him for his ongoing support.

“Having modern and well-maintained facilities encourages more people to get active and enjoy the outdoors. We’re grateful to Scott Buchholz and the LNP for backing this project.”
