A Dutton LNP Government would invest $290,000 to upgrade The Grove Sports Club to provide greater accessibility to residents who use this important community institution.
The Grove Sports Club first opened its doors to the community in the 1990s, providing a much-needed space for a number of community groups, sporting clubs and other organisations.
Ms Forrest said this funding commitment demonstrated the LNP’s strong support for sporting clubs in Ryan.
“We’re investing in The Grove Sports Club to bring it into the 21st century and get it working for the entire community. The Labor Government has neglected our sporting clubs, including this one and has done nothing to help fix the challenges that the club have been facing for decades now,” Ms Forrest said.
“The funding from this project will benefit The Grove Sports Club in many ways, including reworking the existing floor plan, removing walls, and providing a more accessible building for everyone.
This commitment is part of the LNP’s plan to strengthen our local communities and get Australia back on track.
