The LNP will restore safety where you live as part of its Making Our Community Safer Plan, with a major boost to policing on the Sunshine Coast announced today.
The LNP will deliver a Police Beat to protect the local community in Nambour if elected on Saturday to make our community safer and deter crime, helping to ease Labor’s Youth Crime Crisis.
LNP candidate for Nicklin Marty Hunt said the $1.1 million new permanent police presence in the Nambour CBD was part of the LNP’s Making Our Community Safer Plan.
“The LNP will restore safety where you live with the Right Plan for Queensland’s Future,” Mr Hunt said.
“This new Police Beat will be a physical police presence for the people of Nambour to keep them safer when they are out and about in the community.
“Queenslanders have been held hostage by Labor’s Crime Crisis, but the LNP is committed to making our community safer with Adult Crime, Adult Time, gold standard early intervention and effective rehabilitation.
“Labor’s failures have seen crime skyrocket, with almost 300,000 Queenslanders victim to violations like car theft, break-ins and assaults, just last year.”
Mr Hunt said Queenslanders could vote for a new Nambour Police Beat and a government which worked for them, by voting LNP at this election.
“This Saturday we can deliver a Fresh Start for Queensland, by voting 1 LNP, he said.
“Labor are desperate to hold onto power, but unless we change the government, we’ll just continue to get more of the same under Labor.
“This is the opportunity for a Fresh Start with the LNP’s Right Plan for Queensland’s Future.”
