A Dutton LNP Government will invest $97,000 in Ferny Grove Falcons for remediation works to help the club keep pace with player demand.
The club currently has over 400 registered players from Under 6s through to Masters, meaning an upgrade to its facilities is needed to ensure they can continue to grow.
LNP candidate for Ryan, Maggie Forrest, said “A Dutton LNP Government will deliver much-needed funding to Ferny Grove Falcons to enable the club to not only cater for current players but to help it expand its operations moving forward.
“For example, the club currently has plastic bollards covering drainage points throughout the grounds. Also, the area outside the changerooms frequently floods, making the rooms difficult to access as well as posing a safety risk to players and spectators.
“The funding we’re announcing today will help provide a safe and more accessible environment for all who use this growing footy club.
“An upgrade would also benefit other local groups who use the clubhouse and facilities. Only a Dutton LNP Government can deliver this upgrade and others like it for the people of Ryan.”
This commitment is part of the LNP’s plan to strengthen our local communities and get Australia back on track.
