The Liberal National Party (LNP) Candidate for Leichhardt, Jeremy Neal, has today announced a $150,622 election commitment to upgrade the car park at Cairns Men’s Shed, ensuring safer and more accessible facilities for members and visitors.
This critical upgrade will include:
- Sealing the front car park with bitumen,
- Concreting a rear section of the property,
- Installing kerb and channelling for improved drainage and safety.
The total project cost is $178,369.62, with Cairns Men’s Shed already contributing $27,747 towards
concreting the back section.
