A Dutton LNP Government would contribute $1 million in funding for a new cover and green at Bramble Bay Bowls Club.
LNP MP for Petrie, Luke Howarth MP, announced the funding commitment today stating that it emphasised the LNP’s commitment to community sport and infrastructure.
“I have long been fighting for a cover over the green at the Bramble Bay Bowls Club, so that people of all ages can have safe and unrivalled access to a sport, which develops skills and fosters positive social interactions,” Mr Howarth said.
“I am proud to announce a commitment of $1,000,000 to deliver a new cover over the bowling green for the Bramble Bay Bowls Club.
“This upgrade will help protect players from the sun and rain when playing, provide all year-round weather proofing of the greens and attract more members to the club.
“The only way for our community to get upgrades such as this is to vote for a Dutton LNP Government.”
President of the Bramble Bay Bowls Club, Ashley Broad, welcomed the announcement. “Having new shade canopies and synthetic greens would be the upgrade our club needs to retain and attract new members.”
The upgrade also received financial support from the State LNP Government via Redcliffe MP Kerri-Anne Dooley.
