Jimboomba’s young athletes will soon have a modern clubhouse to support their training and competition, with an elected LNP Government to deliver $300,000 towards an upgrade for Jimboomba Little Athletics.
Scott Buchholz said he was proud to support grassroots sport and help ensure young athletes have the facilities they need to thrive.
“I’m proud to announce that if the Federal LNP is elected to Government, we will invest $300,000 towards a clubhouse upgrade for Jimboomba Little Athletics,” Mr Buchholz said.
“Jimboomba Little Athletics is an incredible club that provides kids with the opportunity to stay active, build confidence, and develop a love for sport.
“This investment will ensure they have a high-quality clubhouse that meets the needs of athletes, coaches, and families.
“This investment will deliver real benefits for local families, and only the LNP will continue to back regional sport and invest in the future of our young athletes.”
Logan City Council Deputy Mayor Scott Bannan welcomed the funding commitment, emphasising the importance of investing in community sports infrastructure.
“This is fantastic news for Jimboomba and our sporting community,” Deputy Mayor Bannan said.
“The new clubhouse will provide much-needed facilities for young athletes, coaches, and volunteers, ensuring the club can continue to grow and support the next generation of champions.
“Scott Buchholz has always been a strong advocate for community sport, and we sincerely thank him for his dedication and support.”
