![]() | Fixing the Housing Crisis |

My pledge to you...
I grew up in the western suburbs and am now raising my family in Chapel Hill with my husband, Chris. It’s a really great place to call home.
However Labor and the Greens in Canberra have failed local residents with their cost of living crisis.
One of the things that drives me is a desire for justice. As a practising barrister I’ve appeared in the High Court and worked in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. With experience in criminology and counterterrorism I know we can’t take community safety for granted.
As your LNP candidate for Ryan, I’ll fight for a better deal for us – that means tackling congestion on local roads and reducing taxes and inflation.
I pledge to stand up for our local community and to work hard to make our local area an even better place to live. And with your support, our LNP team will get Australia back on track.
All the best,
Maggie Forrest

Why we're supporting Maggie Forrest

I have known Maggie for several years now. She has been a fierce advocate for the Club and we love seeing her at games. Maggie’s involvement in our club has meant that she has been able to connect with many club members who want to see a strong voice for Ryan.
Anthony Herbert - General Manager, GPS Rugby Club, Ashgrove
Maggie is an intelligent, articulate, and well-educated working Mum. She grew up in Brookfield and continues to call Ryan home with her family. Maggie knows first-hand what the people of Ryan need and has actively connected with community members and local businesses who need her to make change in Ryan.
Claudia Rothenberg - Local Mum and Business Owner
Maggie, in my opinion, is eminently well qualified to serve in politics. Maggie is a highly accomplished woman, mature and well read. She has outstanding credentials in many capacities, student, barrister, a lawyer with post-graduate qualifications from Cambridge, a sportswoman (Toowong rowing club) and she was a member of the Bar Council of Queensland.
Hon Ian Callinan AC - Ryan resident and Former High Court Judge
